SJB Chamber Orchestra
History

The St. John Bosco Chamber Orchestra was formed to enhance high masses and events at the St. John Bosco Parish & Center for Young Workers. Under the leadership of Musical Director and Principal Conductor Charles Gabriel de Castro, and Assistant Musical Director and Assistant Principal Conductor Mark Anthony Abundo, the orchestra began with 32 members. Its purpose is to provide musical accompaniment for liturgical celebrations and enrich community events. Enthusiastic rehearsals marked its early days, focused on building a repertoire of sacred and community-oriented music. The orchestra's establishment signified a commitment to artistic expression, spiritual enrichment, and stronger community bonds.
