Koro Salesiano

History

choir_ks_logo

Started with the members of CFC in 1998 serving the Liturgy of the community of Santarosa and San Jose Villages assisting the Salesian Priests of Canlubang.

Koro Salesiano evolved from the CFC couples group when the founder, Bro Allan AS Paloma, invited non-CFC couples in 2001. The name initially was Koro Salesiana, which simply meant Salesian Choir. When the group consulted Fr. Ditto Guico about it, he corrected the name with the premise that the language follows the gender in terms of “names”. KS has been the first organized choir serving God through music in the community of St. John Bosco prior to becoming a parish.

Since then, the group served the liturgy, especially during the Misa de Gallo (4:30am masses) for so many years.

In 2016, the founder delegated the leadership to Bro Cocoy Claravall when he stepped down as member of the group.
