After weeks of preparation, the PLMM’s Grand Assembly 2024 was a success after members across twelve choir groups participated in the long-awaited whole-day event. Starting with a shared breakfast, members were able to bond at the start of their gathering. The day was jampacked with activities such as rounds of Kahoot! and ‘Name that Tune!’. On top of the interactive games, members gained enriching knowledge from speakers Fr. Ting Miciano, SDB, Fr. Madz Alveyra Jr., and PLMM founding member Bro. Jhei Baylon, who all respectively talked about spiritual formation, liturgical formation, and musical formation.

The event ended with a solemn mass presided by Fr. Ting Miciano, SDB, who serves as the moderator of the PLMM. The mass celebration goes as follows, with all choirs united as one in their service as instruments of God— having used their learned insights and practices to sing their hearts out at each song.
