For the Parish’ 25th Jubilee Year, a songbook was created with St. John Bosco’s words in mind. Give me souls, take away the rest. And in Latin, Da Mihi Animas, Caetera Tolle. This is the very thesis and namesake of Mr. Jose Carlo Altabano Noble, Mr. Charles Gabriel Sumagui de Castro, and Mr. Mark Anthony Abundo’s songbook in preparation for the founding anniversary of St. John Bosco Parish and Center for Young Workers. Featuring songs of praise, thanksgiving, and devotion offered up to our patron saint John Bosco, the composers offer up “each note as a prayer and each lyric as a proclamation of faith” to our wonderful God.
